Hana Vlhová-Wörner at the annual meeting of the American Musicological Society, Boston, MA

Hana Vlhová-Wörner attended the annual meeting of the American Musicological Society organized in Boston, MA on 31. 11.–2. 11. 2019, where she presented a paper Sounds and reverberations. 15th–Century Hussite Religious and War Songs in Differing Historical Context dedicated to the songs included in the Jistebnice Kancionál from the 1420s. She was also invited to participate in the discussion panel Academic Job Mobility and Interview Practices outside of North America, where she could explain the possibilities of international researchers participating in grant schemes in the Czech Republic sponsored by grant agencies in the Czech Republic and the European Union. The participants of the interesting discussion, chaired by Dr. Jennifer Ronyak (Graz), were the president of the International Musicological Society Prof. Daniel Chua (Hong Kong), Prof. Sarah Hibberd (Bristol) and Prof. Paul Christiansen (Seton Hall University), who shared with the public his experience with the Czech HE insitution during his employment at the Palacký University, Olomouc.
